GROOMING INFORMATION
Reservations must be submitted on the form linked above and postmarked or emailed no later than July 1, 2023. Payment must accompany submtted form. Spaces will be assigned in the order received. Requests to groom together must be sent in the same envelope.
NSF checks will be charged a fee of $25. No refunds after July 1, 2023.
We are offering Pre-paid Premium Reserved Grooming, Pre-paid Regular Reserved Grooming, Non-reserved Day-of-Show Grooming; and if any spaces remain, Day-of-show Reserved Grooming.
Pricing for reserved grooming is for Thursday through Sunday, with no reduction in fees for fewer days.
Pre-paid Premium Reserved Grooming
• Spaces are approximately 10’ x 16’
• Only 12 available spaces
• Exercise pens are allowed. Plastic required under exercise pens.
• Cost is $80 per space for four days
• Electricity is included
• Location is under cover with a cement floor (picnic shelter)
• Spaces will be marked with tape or chalk
Pre-paid Regular Reserved Grooming
• Spaces are 10’ x 10’ on grass
• Exercise pens are allowed
• You must provide your own shade/shelter
• Cost is $50 per space for four days
• Electricity is $10 per outlet for four days - Limited power available -
Exhibitors should use portable generators for blowers/dryers
as a precautionary backup.
• Spaces will be marked with chalk
Non-reserved Day-of-Show Grooming
• First-come, first-served each day
• Spaces are limited in quantity
• Spaces are free/no cost
• No saving of spaces
• No exercise pens allowed
• No access to electricity/power
• Equipment must be removed at the end of each day; if not, equipment will be confiscated
• You must provide your own shade/shelter, if desired
Day-of-Show Reserved Grooming
• Subject to availability
• Check-in at Tacoma Kennel Club catalog sales desk for availability
and to receive assigned space
• Spaces are 10’ x 10’ on grass
• Exercise pens are allowed
• You must provide your own shade
• Cost is $70 per space for four days
• Electricity is $10 per outlet for four days, if available
• Payment by cash only (no checks)
• Spaces will be marked with chalk
GROOMING/CRATING STALL RESERVATION
These spots are approximately 5ftx9ft and you get 2 spots plus 10ftx10ft outside of your stalls for a pop-up, chairs, etc.
They are located in the Goat & Small Equine barns.
There is a gravel aisleway between sides where the public can walk but
they do not have direct access to the stalls as the gates are on the outside. The stalls are matted.
The area will be shaded most of the time.
Power is NOT guaranteed in these stalls.
Cost is $25 for the entire weekend and are available on a very limited basis.
You MUST use the special form specifically for these spaces.
GENERAL RULES
• No dogs may be left overnight at any grooming setup
• Grooming and crating area aisles must remain open at all times; control of these areas will
be the responsibility of Tacoma KC.
• Tacoma KC reserves the right to rearrange set ups to maximize available space
• Exercise pens allowed only in the reserved grooming areas, damage to ground is the responsibility of space occupant.
• Generators are only allowed in grooming areas. All generators must be placed on plywood
larger than the generator.
• NO GENERATORS ALLOWED ANYWHERE ON FRONT LAWN.
ELECTRICITY
• Minimum 14 gauge extension cords shall be used to extend electrical service
• Extension cords shall be plugged directly into an electrical outlet and shall, except for
approved multi-plug extension cords, serve only one portable appliance
• The amp capacity of the extension cords shall not be less than the rated capacity of the
portable appliance supplied by the cord
Limited power available - Exhibitors should use portable generators for blowers/

GROOMING SET UP/TAKE DOWN
• NO ACCESS FOR SET UP PRIOR TO THURSDAY, AT 2 PM
• Thursday set up runs from 2 pm to 7 pm
• Access to the grooming areas on Friday thru Sunday is from 7 am to 7 pm
• Grooming set ups must be removed no later than 7 pm on Sunday, July 23, 2023
• Please leave your space as clean as you found it
RESERVATIONS

• Checks payable to Tacoma Kennel Club
• Acknowledgment will be EMAILED ONLY, so please be sure and put your email address
(legibly written) on the reservation form
• Reservation deadline is July 1, 2023 – postmarked or emailed
• Reservation forms postmarked/emailed after July 1, 2023 will be charged an additional $20
• No refunds after July 1, 2023.
